Curved Staircases

There are few home features more impressive than a magnificently crafted, curved or spiral staircase. They can often become the focal point of the entire home. Canadian Oakworks has built an outstanding reputation by handcrafting impeccable quality curved and spiral staircases since 1990.   

All wood handrail, spindles, posts, and curved and spiral staircases are built right in Regina.  Canadian Oakworks only buys the best lumber from the best growing areas in North America and abroad. For example our Red Oak comes from the New England area and is noted for its dense grain pattern and colour consistency. All parts are thoroughly sanded including all block surfaces and turnings. When components leave our shop they are ready for installation.

The maple used has been selected for the most clear and colour consistent boards. They test all the lumber for moisture consistency, and store all the lumber in a vapor barriered building and air fog system to maintain the right moisture content.
